“Thank you for recommending Puglia as my ride of choice for June—it exceeded all my expectations! From the wine tastings and gourmet food experiences featuring local cuisine to the cappuccino and gelato stops that allowed me to savor the region’s culture, it was truly incredible. Each time I go on a Ciclismo trip, I think it can’t possibly get any better. Once again, I’ve been proven wrong!”

—P. Butler

The guides were the true WOW factor for me. As someone on the lower end of cycling ability compared to the rest of the group, I felt incredibly supported. All three guides were encouraging, positive, and, above all, kind. Gonçalo, in particular, stood out with his deep knowledge and pride in his country, Portugal, and that is memorable for me.”

—L. Parry

“Within just an hour of starting the trip, it became clear that biking was only a part of the incredible experience ahead. This journey will undoubtedly become an enduring part of our lives for years to come, and will spawn many more educational adventures.”

—R. Trattner

“Both guides were outstanding—they worked very hard to ensure everyone’s satisfaction, no matter the situation. Truly a great team! Flawless service from Tyler and Gianpaolo and fantastic weather made for an exceptional experience—simple as that!”

“Marcello is the best guide I have ever had—truly outstanding! I would be thrilled to join another trip with him.”

—W. Smart

“Via Francigena was truly special because we ventured off the beaten track, immersing ourselves in the spectacular countryside. While some terrain was challenging, it allowed us to explore hidden depths rarely seen by others. The sense of pilgrimage was palpable throughout the journey. And our dinner at Ristorante Maggese in San Miniato? Easily one of the top 10 meals of my life!”

—T. Ela

“For me, the best part of the ride experience was sharing these magical days with our two incredible guides, Max and Umbi. They were attentive, accommodating, and so much fun to ride and share meals with. Their knowledge of Sicily’s history and culture was impressive—especially since they’re both from northern Italy. From maintaining the bikes and ensuring they were spotless to helping us find an ATM with a favorable exchange rate, they went above and beyond to make our experience carefree and unforgettable.”

—W. Martinez

“Spain was magical- Moorish fairy tales and colorful countrysides.”

—C. Barlow

“The guides were wonderful—especially Isaaco, with his passion and expertise in beer. We loved learning about the area’s history during the two world wars. I even photographed every beer we tried, ending up with 35 pictures in my album! The scheduled tours of breweries, towns, and the fascinating visit to a bell tower added to the experience. There wasn’t a single dull moment during the entire 8 days.”

—M. Deatherage

“Everything went so smoothly; it’s hard to imagine how it could have been better! The trip offered a perfect mix of culture and fun, with stunning countryside and breathtaking views. The lunch stop on the island of Lipari was the best! It was the ideal combination of everything you’d hope for on a bike trip—beautiful scenery, great guides, and an unforgettable adventure!”

—J. Fitzpatrick

“The trip was fantastic! Highlights for me included the lunch at the cheese-making farm, the dinner at the truffle and hazelnut farm, and the stay at our final hotel. And, of course, our guides, Marcello and Ricardo, were terrific!”

—A. Oberai

“The hills were challenging but rewarding, especially the magnificent descent into Siracusa—smooth roads, endless views, and a finish through fragrant orange groves with the heady aroma of citrus blossoms! Ahhh! Equally memorable was riding the lush valley filled with wildflowers, past a lake, and onto Ragusa, where we stayed at the particularly special A.D. 1768 Boutique Hotel, hosted by the charming and helpful Josie. The inclusion of several two-night stays on this tour was a lovely touch.”

—T. Ela

“Visiting the off-the-beaten-path, non turista spots truly brought the country to life for me. Simone did an excellent job introducing us to the rich culture and customs of Sardinia.”

—M. Puskar

“Some of the real highlights for me included the coastal rides on the islands of Lipari and Salina, and the ride from Ragusa to Siracusa on our 40th anniversary. The meals were extraordinary—there wasn’t a single bad meal on the entire trip. I’ve told friends that I enjoyed some of the best meals of my life on this ride; whoever selected the restaurants truly knew what they were doing. The wines were equally exceptional, especially the Salina wines we had on the island. The hike on Mt. Etna was challenging but really worth the experience.”
