Carlo Parisi

Ciclismo Guide Carlo Parisi Passionate about adventurous traveling, Carlo feels much more at home inside a kayak, on a sailboat, or hiking along the limestone crests of the Sardinian central massif, than lazily sitting on a comfortable couch in a cozy and boring living room. After studying philosophy in Bologna and Berlin, Carlo had plenty of experiences in the food industry, when he had the chance to deepen his knowledge of the various Italian food and wine local traditions. When he discovered the two wheels years ago, they were first those of a travel bike. One of those fully loaded hard-working mules you may encounter everywhere along the European roads. Cycling for him has always meant an amazing means of transportation, capable to lead him everywhere without compromises. Enjoying the freedom and amplifying his knowledge and awareness of the world. Road bikes came later as the best way to be fit and ready for that kind of departure. But then, they became a passion, the sports side of cyclotourism. Not only a Sardinian citizen but rather a Sardinia enthusiast, there are really few places on this genuine Mediterranean island Carlo has not see with his own eyes. And see in his own language always means talking to locals, eating what they eat, drinking what they drink, reading their best authors, and listening to their top music. And now Carlo is looking forward to sharing with the friends of Ciclismo Classico all that he has discovered in years of passionate traveling!
