Set out on an unforgettable journey along the Araucanía Andina Circuit, where towering, snow-capped volcanoes like Llaima and Lonquimay stand sentinel. Ancient araucaria forests—living fossils from Gondwana—cast dappled light on your path, and the promise of soothing hot springs awaits to melt away the day’s efforts. Every pedal stroke connects you more deeply with the spirit of this land. Beyond the breathtaking scenery, this tour offers a profound cultural immersion. You’ll have the unique opportunity to connect with the rich traditions of the Mapuche people, the guardians of this ancestral territory. Ride through landscapes that are as powerful as they are peaceful, discovering their vibrant heritage and the profound respect they hold for nature. With access to over 2,000 kilometers of scenic, well-maintained roads, your route will seamlessly link pristine glacial lakes—including the iconic Villarrica and Llanquihue Lakes—winding turquoise rivers, and majestic national parks such as Villarrica National Park and Vicente Pérez Rosales, the oldest national park in Chile. These protected areas are teeming with unique biodiversity, offering glimpses of native wildlife and unparalleled vistas around every bend. This is your chance to experience Chile the way it’s truly meant to be seen—intimately, authentically, and exhilaratingly, all from the saddle of your bike. This is more than a bike trip; it’s an exploration of nature, culture, and self.

Throughout this journey, we blend cycling with immersive cultural encounters that highlight the traditions and heritage of southern Chile. We connect with the Mapuche people, the ancestral guardians of this land, through meaningful interactions. We are welcomed into a traditional ruka (family home), where we learn how to prepare local specialties such as pebre, sopaipillas, and flour ground from Araucaria pine nuts. Sharing stories and meals together creates a powerful sense of place and understanding.
In Pucón, we spend an evening with a local Mapuche family, discovering their history, spiritual beliefs, and cultural practices while participating in palín—a traditional stick-and-ball game similar to grass hockey. This evening culminates in a hearty, home-cooked dinner infused with regional flavors.
