The largest island of the Mediterranean, Sicily is a millennial crossroad for dozen civilizations, the cradle of western world culture, and celebrated by poets, painters, and film directors. On this exclusive Ciclismo Classico bicycle tour, we invite our guests to experience by bike an even more intimate vision of this miracle of Nature and Men. Bike Across Sicily covers the entire Island: West to North and South to East linking popular and famous towns like Trapani, Cefalù, Ragusa, and Siracusa using an incredible network of secondary roads. Every day you’ll see completely new landscapes, deserted valleys and lush forests, rocky peaks, and sandy beaches, and villages that seem so old that it is hard to find where the man-made bricks and the stones of the mountains meet. You’ll dine on delicious local cuisine that was grown and harvested in the rich soil farmed for centuries by hard-working people who love and celebrate their ancient land in music, festivals, and art. You will be inspired and overjoyed by our Sicilian hosts who we will meet at every turn, whose warm welcome, lively traditions, food, and endearing culture will add an unforgettable layer to your cycling journey across one of the most beloved islands in the world.
