Luca Piglia

Born nearby Rome in 1978, Luca graduated from Bologna University with a degree in Engineering, but ultimately chose to follow his passion for traveling.

He has many interests that can be summarized in his passion for traveling, race gravel ultra-cycling, surfing and sharing his adventures with everyone. After finishing his studies in engineering and working in the industry for more than a decade, he realized that his life needed to go in a different direction.

He lived and explored extensively Australia, North America, Africa and South East Asia. Over the last 30 years, cycling has became an important part of Luca’s life.

Luca loves spending time making honey, giving massages, participating in triathlons and making olive oil with his family and working with his winemaker friends during the harvest season.  What he loves most of all is getting people on bikes and seeing them enjoy the wind in their face and the sun at their back. Luca is looking forward to riding with you and sharing his wanderlust for travel and biking on country roads.
