FREE Bay Area Bike Ride
Join Club Ciclismo for the Healdsburg Harvest ride through the vineyards of Russian River and Alexander Valley with Ciclismo Classico alumna Debbie Miskell at the helm!
ROUTE
Debbie will lead one of her favorite rides through the Russian River/Alexander Valley wine country starting from Healdsburg. She will do the ride in the clockwise direction as she did last year. The start is at Westside Road and then you’ll head toward Chalk Hill and Alexander Valley for lunch at Jimtown store. You will then ride through more vineyards to Geyersville and finish up on Canyon and West Dry Creek roads on the way back to Healdsburg. Distance is 50+ miles on rolling hills (no long climbs) through the vineyards and mostly on back roads. Autumn colors should be starting to come out and the harvest will be in swing. Lunch at Jimtown store is 31 miles into the ride so bring a snack and layers. Shorter ride options are available to return to the start (Contact Debbie for details). Cost of lunch is not included in the ride.
POST-RIDE GATHERING
Optional get together at local Healdsburg bar/cafe for post-ride spirits — birra, vino, caffe. Learn more about Ciclismo Classico, discuss vacation plans (past, present and future) and plan other Club Ciclismo rides in areas of interest.
