Our Quebec Spoke Bike Tour has a few things that really set it apart.
Almost the Whole Tour is on Dedicated Bike Trails
From the hub of our lovely hotel, we access the intricate system of linear parks created in the City of Quebec every day of our tour. The core of this tour are shorter beginner rides (20 miles) with very little elevation, but the extensions offer mid to longer rides (40-60miles) with higher elevations and some rolling hills. This is probably one of the most flexible tours on offer by Ciclismo Classico for riders with varied riding wishes.
Rich Cultural Visits with the Locals
After our first full day of riding, we join Chef Anne at her cooking school to prepare dinner. She shares her favorite Québécois recipes and explains how the cuisine evolved from its French culinary roots. The next day, we cycle to the Indigenous village of Wendake, where our Huron-Wendat guides warmly share their culture, beliefs, and language. We then enjoy a meal at their restaurant, featuring dishes crafted from ingredients sourced directly from the nearby rivers and forests. In the evenings, your Ciclsimo guides lead walking tours through the upper and lower parts of Quebec City, sharing the city’s hidden gems and local secrets along the way.
The Beautiful Fall Scenery and Natural Wonders
We time this tour to coincide with the stunning fall colors of the maple trees—and we also déguste the many delicious products made from their sap. Along the way, we visit the impressive Montmorency Falls, which are even taller than Niagara Falls, learn about the migration of the Canadian Snow Goose, and cycle along the St. Lawrence Seaway, where seabirds, whales, and seals accompany the journey.
And Then there is the Food, Enough Said!
