A renovated 12th-century monastery in Northern Portugal.

Northern Portugal will enchant you with its landscape, its vineyards, and its beautiful towns and villages where centuries-old traditions endure. One of the many hidden treasures on our magical bike tour is the stunning Pousada Mosteiro de Guimarães.  If there’s anything better than exploring the halls of this former 12th-century monastery, it’s SLEEPING in it! This magnificent retreat was once home to Augustinian monks and then Portuguese royalty. Today, this is the perfect “home away from home” on Day 4 and 5 of our Northern Portugal Bike Tour!

A 13th-century castle straight out of a fairy tale in France.

After rolling through five-star landscapes, top it off with a taste of royalty in France. We love our “home away from home” on Day 5 of our Bike Across France Tour. Staying at Château de Mercuès is a dream come true. This enchanting 13th-century castle was rebuilt as a pleasure palace with vineyards for the bishops of Cahors. A Mediterranean Beach-front Oasis in Croatia!

If you are in search of some of the best sunsets add Rovinj, Croatia to your bucket list. Rovinj is one of the most picturesque and romantic towns in the Mediterranean and there’s no better place to catch the sunset than from the balconies of the 5-star Hotel Monte Mulini. Located in the southern Italian region of Basilicata, Matera is known as the city of caves with spectacular scenery, a fascinating history, and stylish cave hotels!
