Their specific geological composition, studied by the French geologist Déodat de Dolomieu, makes these mountains truly one-of-a-kind: sheer rock walls, glaciers, spires, towers, and pinnacles create inimitable alpine vistas. This tour is designed to showcase the wonders of the Dolomites to a wide range of participants, combining bike paths and hiking trails that weave through the foothills and lush valleys of the region. We explore a lesser-known part of Italy along the Austrian border, in the provinces of Bolzano and Belluno.
