Sara Massaglia

Sara grew up in a small town near Torino in beautiful Piemonte where she spent her summers riding bikes with friends. After university she lived for some years in London where she studied photography and had a taste of what living in a fast paced city means. However there’s no place like home, so she went back to Italy and re-discovered the beauty of Italy all over again. With a background in tourism, Sara loves to travel but not necessarily to the other side of the world; adventures and experiences can be found anywhere and cycling is the best way to find them. “Bikes are the perfect compromise to explore places: in a car you’d be too fast, on foot you’d be too slow” she says. After years of commuting she felt the need to add miles to her legs and after getting a road bike she was immediately hooked; same happened when she got a mountain bike. Her favorite places to cycle are the hills near home or the mountains, especially the Alps in Val di Susa where she’ll make sure to stop to take loads of pictures. When she’s not riding bikes she can probably be found cooking an earthy meal, sipping a nice glass of red wine or watching Friends.
