Luca Pigliacelli
For the past several years, Luca has been leading cycling tours across some of Europe’s most beautiful regions. He knows Italy from north to south, guiding guests through the vineyards of Piemonte, the rolling hills of Tuscany, the spectacular landscapes of Sicily, Sardinia, and Puglia, and the hidden roads of Abruzzo and Molise. He also leads tours in Portugal, from the Alentejo to the Algarve, and enjoys sharing Spain’s culture and landscapes.
Having traveled extensively through Australia, North America, Africa, and Southeast Asia, Luca believes that the best way to discover a country is by bike. It’s not about riding fast, but about slowing down, meeting local people, tasting regional food and wine, and enjoying the places that most visitors never see.
Fluent in Italian, English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Luca loves introducing guests to family wineries, olive oil producers, and small villages, sharing the stories that make every destination unique. When he isn’t guiding, you’ll probably find him riding gravel roads, training for endurance events, surfing, producing honey with his bees, making olive oil with his family, or helping friends during the grape harvest.
For Luca, every ride is about creating memories, sharing good conversations, and helping guests experience a destination like a local, not just as a visitor
