Desired Skills and Experience

The role includes:

  • Providing Sales Support
  • Selling Ciclismo Classico tours and providing pre- & post-sales support to clients.
  • Maintaining meticulous files
  • Participating in Ciclismo Classico’s social media strategy using Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and email newsletters
  • Contributing your unique perspective to the Ciclismo Classico sales & social media strategies
  • Representing Ciclismo Classico at rides & events in Boston and other key markets (including some weekends & evenings)

Your experience includes:

  • Knowledge of Peak 15 or other similar sales platform
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the travel industry or related fields
  • First-hand knowledge of Europe (Italy in particular)
  • History of meeting aggressive sales goals
  • Inspiring and delivering top-notch customer service
  • Developing and promoting new business opportunities
  • Extensive writing and communication experience

You should also be:

  • Well-traveled in Europe
  • Highly detailed orientated
  • Experience working in a small business and the wearing of many hats
  • An exceptional verbal, written, and visual communicator
  • Available to start immediately

Also a big plus:

  • Proficiency in Italian
  • Exceptional email writing and prospecting experience
  • Bicycle tour guiding or leadership experience
