Elisa Cucini
Hotel Consultant
Elisa started studying languages from a young age, knowing that one day her path would lead her to tourism, but she never imagined she’d get to work in such an exciting field! Her original plan was to be a flight attendant for Alitalia, but she realized in the long run not getting hired was a blessing in disguise. Instead, she continued on to Law School and gained a lot of experience as a guide for the Civic Museum of Siena. After graduation, she passed the state exam and became a lawyer focusing on Employment Law. In 1996, she and her husband (fellow Ciclismo guide Alessandro) purchased the farmhouse Il Molinello and moved to the countryside. She continued her profession and managed the family stay farm, but eventually gave it all up, not for her children, and not because the farm grew, but for a new passion… politics!
Elisa spent 2004-2014 as Alderman of Tourism and Environment and then Alderman of Human Resources and Environment from 2009-2014 for the town of Asciano for the Green Party. This exciting phase of her life was eventually taken over by her latest and greatest adventure, working for Ciclismo Classico! Besides politics, and of course, travel, Elisa is passionate about cooking, reading, and getting know people.
