What’s Included

A Day in the Life of Ciclismo Classico is not like any other day you’ve ever experienced. In addition to the hundreds of priceless moments, here’s the official checklist of what’s included on every Ciclismo Classico tour.

Accommodations & Meals

  • Accommodations in four- or five-star hotels, charming B&Bs, and family inns
  • Breakfast every morning (Continental or Buffet)
  • Most dinners, except one or two on your own
  • Some lunches (two or more depending on the tour)
  • All snacks and drinks en route
  • Luggage handling during the tour

Travel Planning

  • Expert office staff in the United States and Italy to assist you with pre- and post-tour travel consultation
  • A practical pre-departure package containing information on your destination, what to bring, what to expect, and suggestions on how to prepare for the tour including a training program
  • Convenient meeting points for arriving and departing

Guides and Van Support

  • Experienced bilingual local and/or native Italian guides
  • Local guides to lead walks, educational talks, or other activities
  • Private van support to transport luggage and provide assistance when necessary

Fees and Gratuities

  • Any shuttles (aside from private taxis) needed while on the tour
  • Tips and gratuities for performers, local city guides, and other included activities

One of Our Awesome Bicycles

  • Road bike:  The Ciclismo exclusive and custom-made, “La Classica Ribelle” carbon frame, disc brakes, and Sram electronic shifters, 24 speed (33/46 front – 10/36 rear)
  • Hybrid bike: the Bianchi C Sport 2.5 Hybrid, Aluminum frame, triple chainring, relaxed fit
  • Tandems: available on request at an extra charge. Ask for Details
  • E-Bikes: available on request at an extra charge. Type A: drop handlebars, racing style; Type B: hybrid style, more upright fit. Ask for Details
  • Bike selection on tours outside of Europe may vary.

What’s Not Included

  • Airfare
  • Gratuity for Ciclismo guides (suggested tip 8-10% of the trip price per person per guide team)
  • Wine and alcoholic beverages
  • Most lunches
  • Transfers to the starting point; we can assist you in planning and arranging any necessary shuttles
  • Bike helmets (required) and SPD pedals
  • Travel insurance
  • Transport of bike case for guests who bring their own bike (shipping to the destination available for an additional fee)
  • Personal expenses such as laundry, supplies, phone calls, etc.
