Welcome to Agropoli! We’ll meet at 12:30 pm at San Francesco Resort, our first hotel. You’ll have time to change after lunch for today’s warm-up ride,
which will take you around the outskirts of our coastal town home for the next two nights.

We’ll head north to the 7th-century B.C. Greek colony of Paestum to visit one of the most historically significant ancient sites in the world. The
magnificence of the Doric temples and the urban fabric of the old city will surely be a memory you won’t forget. The area is also known for its unique
natural products, the most famous being buffalo mozzarella.
Later, your expert guide will take you to see the most innovative dairy of the region, where you’ll get to taste the authenticity for yourself!
We’ll venture inland toward the village of Vatolla, where you’ll learn the secrets of local cuisine with ingredients straight from the garden. Then, we’ll
start our (mostly) descent all the way to Castellabate, a town with ancient origins. We end this scenic ride in the fishing village of Santa Maria, where a
delectable seafood dinner awaits.
The four-star Villa Sirio was once the summer house of a patrician family from the region of Campania. The rooms are on the upper floor and
overlook either the green hills of Castellabate and its 12th c. Saracen castle on the immense Mediterranean Sea. The hotel also features a private beach.
We’ll ride along the sea following an ancient road that will take us through Acciaroli, which is where Hemingway found inspiration during one of his
stays there. We’ll also visit the ancient Greek colony of Velia. We finish today’s ride in Ceraso, where we take a shuttle to Palinuro.
The King’s Hotel overlooks the Baia Del Buon Dormire on top of Capo Palinuro. It is only ve minutes from the town center and 15-minute walk from
the hotel. There is also access to the hotel’s private beach, via 400 steps.
The best for last... we’ll span the most beautiful stretch of coast, where mountains drop directly to the sea and countless turns unveil awe-inspiring
views over the Tyrrhenian. From Camerota to Scario, we’ll get a local boat to explore the stretch of coast that has no road and features natural beauties,
like Infreschi Bay.
