Foodie Bike Tours

Indulge in a gastronomic fantasy!

Do you love a great meal? Cycle your way to the intersection of culture and cuisine. Like all of our tours, you’ll pedal at your pace, stopping to sample red wine, share a coffee with locals, and, who knows, maybe you’ll make your own pasta!

Food & Wine Focused Bike Touring from ciclismo classico

Evening Feasts: An important ingredient of our tours is making your gastronomic fantasies come true! We believe that every interaction with food and libations should whet your appetite and peak your curiosity. Our evening feasts offer a generous variety of local specialties: tagliatelle con funghi porcini, bruschetta al pomodoro, spicy empanadas, tiramisu, home-made polenta and much, much more—all made with only the finest and freshest ingredients. We want you to relax, laugh and reflect on the day’s adventure while twirling fettucine and sipping the finest Barolo.

Cooking Lessons and Tastings: Every Ciclismo Experience includes at least one cooking lesson or demonstration (more can be arranged!) with our local friends who are as passionate about food as they are about sharing it with you. Interested in a Celebrity Chef Tour? We can arrange that too!

Super Snacks: There are snacks and there are Super Snacks. In addition to the basic munchies throughout the day we offer great local specialties such as orange and chocolate Pane Del’Orso (bear bread) in Scanno, piping hot pastries in Reggello or fresh figs picked fresh from the tree! Water is great but fresh almond milk really hits the spot. We have regular group stops where we refuel and recharge.

Tours are organized by ability level: easy, athletic beginner, intermediate and advanced. For more information you can call one of our Travel Consultants at 800-866-7314 or contact us.
